Offerings are over and above the tithe, and they are important to God. In Malachi 3:8, God said the people had robbed him of offerings as well as the tithe. So offerings are not an optional thing with God, they are required. The amount of blessing will depend on the attitude of the heart and the willingness to give.
“For if there be first a willing mind, it is accepted according to that a man hath, and not according to that he hath not.” - 2 Corinthians 8:12
