If you have received Jesus Christ as your Saviour, as a Christian you should:

1. Read your Bible every day to get to know Christ better.
   
   Do your best to present yourself to God as a tried-and-true worker who isn't ashamed to teach the word of truth correctly. 2 Timothy 2:15 (GW)
   
   Your word is a lamp for my feet and a light for my path. Psalms 119:105 (GW)
   
   
2. Talk to God in prayer every day.
   
   Have faith that you will receive whatever you ask for in prayer. Matthew 21:22 (GW)
   
   Never worry about anything. But in every situation let God know what you need in prayers and requests while giving thanks. Philippians 4:6 (GW)
   
   
3. Worship, fellowship, and serve with other Christians in a church where Christ is preached and the Bible is the final authority.
   
   We should not stop gathering together with other believers, as some of you are doing. Instead, we must continue to encourage each other even more as we see the day of the Lord coming. Hebrews 10:25 (GW)
   
   Every Scripture passage is inspired by God. All of them are useful for teaching, pointing out errors, correcting people, and training them for a life that has God's approval. 2 Timothy 3:16 (GW)
   
   
4. Tell others about Christ.
   
   Then Jesus said to them, "So wherever you go in the world, tell everyone the Good News. Mark 16:15 (GW)
   
   If I spread the Good News, I have nothing to brag about because I have an obligation to do this. How horrible it will be for me if I don't spread the Good News! 1 Corinthians 9:16 (GW)
